Yao stared at a few pictures on the wall, his eyes narrow. No, that wouldn't do at all. People were going to be flocking to the fair by the thousands; what on earth would they think of him and his nation if everything in his section was out of place? He pulled up a chair and climbed onto it, standing on the tips of his toes to pull down a scroll. It was way too high up. Why he chose to put it there in the first place, even he didn't know. Maybe his old age was finally affecting his brain....
Despite it being fairly early in the morning, curious fairgoers, mostly Italian, were already trickling into the building. Every now and then, someone came by to peek into his room, probably having been attracted by the scent of good food or the soft music he had put on (partially so someone would come see him, partially for himself to enjoy as he worked to set everything up). He would greet them whole-heartedly, proud to show off what he had up for display. Before they could even protest, guests were taken through his "artifact" section, which was mostly just a collection of his old things, clothes and jewelry, furniture, books and art, and the like, locked safely into cases set up near the back. Towards the front of the room, they were welcome to take what they liked from the food, most of which had been made with his own two hands...with no help from Russia, thank you. He gave a tight-lipped smile to one man who, upon seeing his noodles, went "Paaaaaastaaaaaa!" Yep, definitely Italy's guy. Actually, Italy had stolen Yao's noodles for that pasta of his.... The rest of the area was dedicated to Chinese history. Well, more specifically, the parts of it that he wanted to own up to. Even more specifically: anything that didn't involve him getting his butt kicked, little mention of his doing something that the rest of the world would collectively gasp at the thought of, and nothing that broke his heart, made him angry, or would otherwise embarrass or upset him personally. After all, he was several thousand years old and had been through everything. He had quite a bit to be ashamed of. BUT! No need to think about that.
As soon as a pair of women left, he plopped down in the nearest chair, taking his beloved panda off his back and setting him in his lap. "We're going to be busy for a while, aru..." He commented, absentmindedly brushing his fingers over the animal's ears. Panda looked up at him, his eyes wide. "Hm? Oh! I'll bet you're hungry, aru." He turned the chair around and reached under the table he sat by, pulling out his backpack and rummaging through it. A moment later, he had a stick of bamboo, which he handed over to his pet. He smiled as he watched him eat, then looked back to the door. Now to wait for more people....

She had hovered at the door, her petite hands on the open frame as she peeked in, rocking on her toes as if some secret spy. It would be lying to say it hadn't been the cute animal in his lap that had originally attracted her, but secondly it was she knew little of the man her brother always seemed so fond about. Knocking loudly, Katyusha stepped in as she brushed her bangs back from where they fell out from behind her ear.
"Cheena," she chirped, bouncing as always as she moved in cautiously, "Ee'm not interrupting, am Ee?" The blond moved easily, checking out his oriental decorations and the magnificent wall scrolls. She knew most about Europe, seeing these different takes on cultures really made her feel insignificant in the world. Pointing a thin finger, she waggled it in the direction of his panda."Eet have a name?"
Smiling, she approached steadily now, greeting with a warm expression and dimpled cheeks.

Yao closed his eyes. His old age really was catching up to him. He was tired already and he had barely even worked. Maybe if he just caught up on his rest...the panda would stay in his lap anyway.
'Cheena?' His eyes snapped open at the sound of...was that his name? It sounded like his name. So that must have been another nation. And the voice wasn't Ita-who was bouncing a ball in his room?!
"Ahhh! Welcome!" He jumped to his feet, discreetly looking around for that ball bouncer as he greeted his guest. He knew her. It was...Russia's sister who wasn't completely psychotic, yes? Ignoring the fact that she was pointing right at him and his pet (How rude, aru), he glanced at her face. She seemed friendly, but with Russia's family, one could never be too sure. Then, before he realized it, his gaze slowly made its way down to her chest. Well, that explained the bouncing sound. How was her back not broken? "I just call him Mr. Panda, aru..." He mumbled, quickly glancing to the side to hide the fact that he had just been ogling at her breasts, hoping she hadn't noticed. He shifted the creature to one arm, briefly rubbing the bridge of his nose with the other before holding the bear, who was still eating his breakfast, out to her. "He's very friendly, aru."

She laughed, quite perfectly sane despite her familial ties, barely noticing as China seemed to go through different states of confusion. Smiling still, she took the panda into her arms (carefully, it was more like a cradle to the side to avoid suffocating it with her assets) and stroked it's two-toned head. "Well, heelo Mr. Panda," she cooed, holding it gingerly and lovingly. Watching it through bright eyes for a moment, she spoke again, this time to it's owner.
"How have you been?" Ukraine asked, curling her toes as she walked in a swing style circle. "Ee haven't had much chance to look around yet, Russia told me you would be happy to see me." Katyusha laughed to herself, smiling something knowingly as she held the bear. "Or not, your room looked eenveting."
Mostly with her hip, she nudged out a chair and sat down on it, adjusting her self so there was more than enough room between body and table for her and the two-toned creature.

He watched her carefully, ready to take his pet back at the first sign of trouble. He adored his panda, thank you, and he would have rather not put it in harm's way. He relaxed a bit as she petted it, however, and watched for a moment before deeming it safe to pull his chair next to her and plop down onto it. "He did, did he, aru?" Yao raised an eyebrow. What on earth had Russia been telling people about him? "I can't complain too much, aru. Actually, I've been setting up all day, aru. It's been busy. What about you, aru?" He hadn't really had time to complain, in other words. Well, he could have said something about a certain someone sending him certain stupid texts, but he chose to keep that to himself. Glancing at a shelf near the window, he frowned. Somebody had knocked a small statue over. "Hold on, aru."Getting to his feet, he walked quickly across the room to pick it up and inspect it, relieved to see that it wasn't cracked or broken. How could someone just mess up his display and leave it, though? Especially after all his hard work. He gritted his teeth a bit as he set it upright again, brushing off some non-existent dust, and carefully put it back where it went. Perfect. Returning to his seat, he shook his head. "Sorry about that. Some people, aru." He muttered, bending down to pick up some bamboo Mr. Panda had just dropped.

Ukraine was delighted when the shorter man deemed himself comfortable enough to pull up a chair beside her and she continued to cuddle with the Panda gently, moving its fur with her fingers as she stroked the top of it's head. "Russia talks a lot better when not so crowded or away from sister, we talk lots, always," she explained, showing some sort of insight to a slightly normal relationship with her family. "Not so much at home, but eet's easy here weeth out my boss."
Katyusha followed Wang Yao with her soft gaze, assessing as he fixed up his room and kept it presentable as ever. "No, eet's alright. Means people were eenterested enough to look," the well busted nation returned, shaking off his apology. "Ee have been good, my booth es simple and doesn't need me around all the time. Sometiemes bread gets low, but Ee only fex that at neeght."
The Panda re-adjusted himself in her arms and habitually she flicked a hand across all the buttons on her blouse. Not only was it embarrassing when it did come un-done, China seemed so tidy that the fact she was actually missing a button might drive him insane from her point of view. "Have you seen anyone else's rooms yet, Cheena?"

Yao handed the bamboo back to his pet, blushing a bit at the utter cuteness of Mr. Panda. I thought your boss didn't want you talking to him, aru? He thought, Ukraine's statement finally sinking into his head. He recalled Russia saying something to that effect, though he couldn't say exactly how long ago it was. He dropped the thought after a moment, remembering once again that they were all supposed to be fostering better relations at this fair. He had a habit of forgetting that...
He frowned and shook his head, then leaned back in his seat, his arms crossed. "Some of these things are very old, aru. I'd rather not leave them where people can just grab at them, aru." Sadly, he hadn't seen any other booths. Not that they could compare to his, anyway, though. Well, that, and he'd hadn't felt comfortable leaving his section unattended.
Then again, the only other people who had booths up anyway (that he knew of) were either nations he hadn't had much interaction with to begin with, nations he didn't really want to talk to, or America. He was thinking hard enough about this that he didn't realized he was looking at the blonde's chest again, his attention having been brought there by her hand going over her buttons. He blinked a few times as he snapped out of it, his eyes quickly darting to a rather lovely spot on the wall. "I could lock up and see what's around, aru...It would be a nice break... He muttered. Maybe he could get her to show him around hers. She hadn't gone into the psychotic mass-murdering spree that Yao had come to associate with the rest of her family, so it was the least he could do, he supposed. And perhaps it would make up for the fact his eyes couldn't seem to stay on her face for long... "Would you like to go for a walk, aru?" His expression brightened as he took the panda's paw, shaking it a little as he spoke. Mr. Panda simply looked up at him, making a happy mini-panda sound.

She tilted her head, thinking over how old and of China's items could really be. He must of been a pack rat in order to keep all that around, and in it's condition, he probably didn't display it all off too often. Katyusha really felt no need for his eyes lingering, he seemed respectable, it happened to everyone she usually came into contact with. "That ees so cool. Most of my old etems got lost when ee kept transferring homes with Российская Федерация - Russia and the Soviet Union. A lot if thengs got lost everywhere."
Ukraine hadn't expected the elder nation's offering and excited, she stood up, Mr. Panda still cradled quite comfortably in the nook of her arm, pressed into her bosom as it 'conversed' for a second with China. "Ee would love to go for a walk, theese building is so cool enteresting to walk all through."

"That's unfortunate...I'm sorry to hear that, aru." It was true; Yao was a packrat. However, he'd always found a way to save things when he could; it was a part of him and his history, after all. What he wouldn't give for texts and artifacts of his that had been burned to ashes centuries ago. But, he could easily see where constantly moving around would force one to give up their old things in favor of necessities and what else they could carry. It was still quite a depressing thought, though...
"I think I can spare a little while, aru. He smiled a bit as she jumped up. Something about the combination of her and Mr. Panda was actually quite cute...Oh, he'd need some more bamboo later. Hopefully, they didn't run into that brother of his (was he even there yet?) along the way; who know what he would do to Ukraine's breasts if he saw her? More importantly, who knew what Russia would do to him if he found out? If he showed up, Yao could certainly ward him off. Just let me clean up here and we can go, aru." Going back to his bag, he pulled out a set of keys, picking one and sticking it into the lock of the case in the corner. Once it was open, he went about grabbing various small, breakable objects from around the room and placing them inside. Afterwards, he went for the food, then stopped at the counter."Would you like anything before I put this away, aru?" He liked to show off his food, yes. And he was quite certain Ukraine had never tasted his cooking.

Well, what was true was true. He had no need to be sorry for her though, "Alright," she chirped, happy he would accompany him. Keeping comments to herself, Ukraine watched as China stored away his items into safe keeping. It was sort of cute from a stand point of how protective he seemed of them.
"Do you have enything can take on the go?" Katyusha asked curiously, rolling onto her toes as she wandered over. She had no clue what anything of his tasted like, that was for sure, as she really never did get to leave her home. It was why she was enjoying this festival so much, mainly. "Unless you don't meend waiting, it all looks so good but ee'm afraid if ee have to try one, ee have to try them all!" the blond laughed, covering her mouth as she found joy in her own joke.

He laughed a little. That was always a possibility. Not that he totally minded; he spent a long time making that food and he wanted people to eat it. "Anything for the go, aru?" He tapped his chin, glancing up at the ceiling. "Well, it's probably better not to walk down the hall with handfuls of food, aru," He wrinkled his nose at the very thought of it. That was just... Going back to the food, he rested his hands on the counter and his mouth twitched from side to side as he thought of what to start with. ."But, if you want something quick, these are delicious, aru," He gestured to a couple of small paper-wrapped cakes. "They're a little messy, but fine if you leave them in the paper. Oh, and these buns have bean paste inside them." He flicked his hand towards something else. "Then there's always stir fry." His talking got faster and faster as he showed off things. Somewhere in there, he may have said something along the lines of "Then there's always tea if you're thirsty. Green, Oolong-" More fast talking. He was clearly quite excited to go on about what he had out.
